Sally is a breath of fresh air when it comes to organising, management and planning - always meticulous, very thorough and makes event life easy to handle. With a bubbly personality and can-do attitude towards her work, Sally has always gone over and above the call of duty to ensure a great show is had by everyone. Sally is one of a kind. I have been a speaker in many conferences and every time that it is one that she is involved, I always feel very welcomed and taken care of. Sally is absolutely a people person; her enthusiasm and energy is infectious, she goes about her work with quiet authority and calmness, and always in good humour- characteristics that you don’t tend to associate with events coordinators, who in my experience tend to be on the manic side due to the nature of the job. Sally has no problem managing, or working, for people; she understands her role and position, but is in no way a push over; she has the confidence to make a point to whoever it might be, if she feels that the wrong decisions are being made. She has excellent judgement in my opinion and a way of dealing with people which is inclusive and considerate.
There was an apparent void left when Sally decided to leave the RIBA to go and work in the private sector. I can genuinely say that everyone that I know who has worked with Sally enjoyed the experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending her
